You will help shape how our brand is brought to life across both digital and physical channels. In this role, you will play a vital part in communicating operational, safety-critical and regulatory information in a way that’s accurate, accessible and fully aligned with our brand standards. Your work will support employee engagement, build public trust, and help us meet the regulatory expectations that keep our customers and communities safe.
In this role you will:

- Deliver high-quality visual design, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong fundamentals across all formats and platforms.
- Maintain and advance brand standards, balancing compliance with innovation to strengthen NGN's visual presence.
- Design user-centred, accessible and inclusive experiences, applying UX principles to improve comprehension and interaction.
- Iterate and refine work using feedback, data and real-world performance insights to continually improve design outcomes.
- Manage technical production, preparing accurate, production-ready assets for digital, print and motion outputs with awareness of technical constraints.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively, partnering with stakeholders, presenting design rationale confidently, and contributing to continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
We are looking for:
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a design-related discipline such as graphic design, illustration or art.
- Proven experience designing for specific audiences and contexts, gained in-house or within a creative agency, supported by a strong print and digital portfolio.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch and core IT applications such as MS Office.
- Strong graphic design, concept development and ideation skills, with the ability to translate business goals, user needs and constraints into effective visual solutions.
- Working knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards and inclusive design, along with a basic understanding of front-end constraints such as HTML/CSS and performance would be advantageous.
- Experience working across varied media including motion, interaction or emerging formats, with the ability to evolve visual language while maintaining coherence.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling technical, detailed or regulated content.
- Ethical and professional design practice, including correct asset use, licensing awareness and respect for brand and legal requirements.
We encourage early applications, as the vacancy may close before the advertised deadline once we have received enough suitable candidates.
