The opportunity

As a Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for the management and success of a team of outbound Business Account Managers operating within the B2B energy sector. Your primary focus will be to influence key revenue streams by driving performance through effective leadership, coaching, and strategic oversight. You will play a crucial role in the continuous development of your team motivating them to exceed sales targets while ensuring a strong pipeline and consistent results.

What exactly will you do?

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Lead Generators, Energy Consultants and Closers to drive performance, achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and develop a team selling to large corporate organisations across the UK. Conduct regular team meetings to reinforce motivation and accountability.
  • Monitor your team’s performance and set targets to ensure all KPIs are met.
  • Compile and analyze sales figures and MI reports.
  • Compile and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure all sales opportunities are quoted and most importantly achieved.
  • Keep updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments and ensure full compliance with all company operating policies and procedures.

What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing outbound B2B sales teams
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Energy Industry
  • A proven track record in sales management.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, team dynamics, and sales cycles
  • Strong Leadership and Coaching skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box
