What exactly will you do?

  • Produce best in class forecasting of industry costs for NGP customers such as Transmission, Distribution, FiT, RO, EMR and BSUoS, making up around 60% of a customer's bill.
  • Speak with customers to explain their bill or potential customers to explain our forecast in non-commodity costs.
  • Develop and lead key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to ensure costs are well understood and communicated to the business.
  • Responsible for production of a certain set of cost forecasts, which include Network and Policy costs.
  • Constructing the price comparison of supplier offers.
  • You will input non-commodity cost forecasts for our customers which are generated through our online platform.
  • Monitoring customers energy hedge position reports and transacted trades conducted by the traders.

What we're looking for

  • Several years' experience in the energy industry, ideally in commercial roles.
  • Well developed Excel and Microsoft Office skills and interest in new technologies.
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management growing, being highly regarded around the business.
  • Strong reputation developed with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with cost comparisons.
  • Understanding of flexible products and weighted average price.
  • Experience with non-commodity forecasts.
  • Creating models from scratch.
  • Self starter with ability to work independently, able to scope and drive their own and more junior colleagues work.
