What exactly will you do?
- Produce best in class forecasting of industry costs for NGP customers such as Transmission, Distribution, FiT, RO, EMR and BSUoS, making up around 60% of a customer's bill.
- Speak with customers to explain their bill or potential customers to explain our forecast in non-commodity costs.
- Develop and lead key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to ensure costs are well understood and communicated to the business.
- Responsible for production of a certain set of cost forecasts, which include Network and Policy costs.
- Constructing the price comparison of supplier offers.
- You will input non-commodity cost forecasts for our customers which are generated through our online platform.
- Monitoring customers energy hedge position reports and transacted trades conducted by the traders.
What we're looking for
- Several years' experience in the energy industry, ideally in commercial roles.
- Well developed Excel and Microsoft Office skills and interest in new technologies.
- Experience of senior stakeholder management growing, being highly regarded around the business.
- Strong reputation developed with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with cost comparisons.
- Understanding of flexible products and weighted average price.
- Experience with non-commodity forecasts.
- Creating models from scratch.
- Self starter with ability to work independently, able to scope and drive their own and more junior colleagues work.
