What is the job about?
As our Management Accountant you will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by producing monthly management accounts of multiple entities and providing accounts and financial organisation.
What exactly will you do?
- Production of the monthly management accounts for various entities within agreed timescales as set out within the team’s objectives including P&Ls and analysis
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues
- Monthly reporting of key KPIs
- Fixed asset capitalisation
- Processing and submission of UK and Maltese quarterly VAT returns and EC sales list
- Provide advice to the purchase ledger department regarding invoice coding
- Liaising and assisting with external auditors
- Liaising with French accountant in Paris office
- Operate and improve internal controls within the finance function
- Financial analysis and project work
- Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be requested
- Ensure they comply with all company operating policies and procedures
What we’re looking for
- Part/Fully Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience of SAP by design
- Experience of producing management accounts packs to tight deadlines
- Flexible mindset and can-do attitude
- Excellent Excel and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient
- Knowledge of regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail
