Enhanced Family Friendly Policies We’re looking for a People Advisor to join our team in Gateshead and provide business operational support to ensure effective support, guidance and advice on a wide variety of People related matters. Employee Relations case management Policy & Process updates Performance Management Support with the delivery of key people projects Provide first-line advice, guidance, coaching, and support to all colleagues (including management and senior leadership team) across a wide range of People matters. Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current and proposed employment legislation and local arrangements, to ensure compliance, consistency, accuracy, and best practice. Support case management of ER cases relating to disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and performance. This includes providing advice to managers on policy/procedure and legislation, liaising with Occupational Health, supporting formal investigations and hearings. Provide updates on key changes to policies/ processes/ new initiatives and any trends identified in ER reporting. Collaborate on operational projects which improve service delivery, including supporting with the development of team objectives and KPI’s. Case management including advice, guidance and support on performance & capability reviews, absence management, resolution of the grievance and disciplinary issues etc. Support with exit interviews and identify trends/patterns using data collated and prepare monthly reports. Support the ongoing development of the HR system (PHR) to maintain the integrity of the employee data in our systems. Proven experience in a HR advisor role Strong knowledge of human resources processes Strong ability in using MS office CIPD Level 3 Diploma/equivalent Diversity in our heritage, inclusion in our future.
