Join our global family with modern offices in the UK, France, Malta, India, and Italy, and be part of a team leading energy consultancy and helping businesses make informed energy choices.

We’re looking for a self-starter with a winning attitude — someone driven, motivated, and able to consistently meet targets. You should have a passion for finding new business, building client relationships, and growing your portfolio through proactive customer engagement.

The opportunity

The energy market changes daily; after the 2022 energy crisis, businesses need expertise now more than ever. We’re seeking reliable, determined individuals to support customers, educate them on supply and demand, and assist with renewals. If you’re ready for a challenging and rewarding role in the energy industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What exactly will you do?

  • Cold calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using NGP’s services and solutions. This is a B2B role (Business to Business).
  • Question their current procurement strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Tender preparations and supplier negotiations. After generating the lead, you will work with a closer to prepare tenders for a panel of 87 international energy suppliers and negotiate the best contract for clients.
  • Manage client relationships. Act as the single point of contact, manage accounts, and monitor the pipeline for renewals or additional opportunities.
  • Compliance with all policies & procedures.

You will receive a thorough onboarding process with full industry and sales training to onboard your first client. Afterwards, you’ll develop and manage your own client portfolio with independence in organising your time and schedule.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in the Energy Sector (essential)
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills — professional and articulate
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
  • Ability to manage your own workload and pipeline
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and passionate
  • Self-motivated with a drive for success

What’s in it for you?

  • Industry-leading compensation package: Salary of between £25,000 – £50,000 (DoE) + Uncapped Commission
  • Rapidly growing user base: Work directly with some of the UK’s largest and fastest growing companies
  • Learn from industry-leading experts: Career progression and learning opportunities from top professionals
  • Work-life balance: No late finishes, maintain plans with friends and family
  • Career growth: Opportunities for promotion from within
  • Real Living Wage Employer recognition
  • Unrivalled perks (including but not limited to): additional time off in December, company getaways and retreats, dining discounts, cinema society membership, health plan with Simplyhealth, festival and event tickets
