Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Café Supervisor to join our team at Goggs, London, SW1A 2HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to support the day-to-day operation of a busy café, leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

What you'll be doing
- Motivating and supporting the café team to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Assisting the Retail Manager with stock control, ordering, rotas, training, and team development
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are maintained and completed to a high standard
- Operating tills, handling cash, and providing excellent customer service
- Preparing and serving food and beverages
- Greeting customers and creating a welcoming environment
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge and training new team members
- Managing cash handling, cashing up, and transaction records
- Identifying upselling opportunities to maximise sales
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous café, retail, hospitality, or supervisory experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Experience with cash handling and till operation
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Positive and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent service
Additional Information
- Applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Successful candidates will be required to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
