Our New Homes Land Researcher will be a highly motivated individual whose objective is to identify potential land and development opportunities to be provided for new build developers, using technology which is specifically provided for the purpose. The role includes developing and maintaining detailed planning application records, gathering data, and carrying out research via various databases to ascertain land or development owners' / key stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

  • Producing and sending relevant prospecting / enquiry documentation to land or development owners / key stakeholders.
  • Carrying out physical site visits to establish the current status of a site and accurately document findings.
  • Recording and maintaining a detailed and accurate database of land and development opportunities.
  • Using multiple databases to ascertain information from land registry, companies house, and our internal land tools.
  • Providing detailed analysis and reports of potential sites for consideration.
  • Communicating with all owners and key stakeholders to establish interest and ensuring that all correspondence is recorded consistently and accurately.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation for land / site owner meetings.
  • Attending weekly / monthly meetings with the team as appropriate to deliver an overview of current activity.
