One of my long-standing clients, a Local Authority based in the North of England is currently looking for an experienced Planning Officer/Senior Planning Officer to join the team on a contract basis. This contract will run for an initial 6-12 months but will be renewed indefinitely for at least a couple of years.
Contractors we have placed within this team provide great feedback for the team working environment, friendly/supportive management and flexibility.

Hours: 37 per week
Job description:
- Processing a mixed caseload of planning applications including householder, minor and complex minor planning applications.
- At times there may be some small majors to deal with.
- Experience within a rural LPA would be beneficial.
- No office attendance required but site visits once every few weeks with the work being predominately home based.
