NES Fircroft is proud to partner exclusively with the Northern Endurance Partnership (bp, Equinor, TotalEnergies) as they deliver the CO₂ transportation and storage infrastructure for the East Coast Cluster—one of the UK’s most significant carbon capture and net zero programmes.

Following financial close in December 2024, NEP is progressing into execution, with construction due to start mid‑2025. To support this next phase, NEP is seeking an experienced C&P Manager to lead contracting and procurement activity for the Humber Onshore Major Capital Project.

The Role

A key position within the project team, the C&P Manager will shape and deliver contracting strategy, supplier engagement, tendering, bid evaluation, and contract award across complex onshore and offshore scopes. You will build robust processes, ensure governance and compliance, and act as a trusted commercial advisor to NEP leadership and JV stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Strong background in C&P management for major capital projects within energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrable FEED / front‑end contracting strategy experience and strong familiarity with FEED, EPC, and EPCM contracting models.
  • Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end procurement, negotiations, contract drafting, and supplier performance management.
  • Experience embedding procurement processes, controls, and reporting frameworks in developing or transitional organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working with JV partners, regulators, and senior leadership.
  • Experience in carbon capture, energy transition, or regulated infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to large onshore/offshore engineering and construction scopes.
