We are looking for a skilled Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. If you are experienced in installing fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, or access control solutions, this is your opportunity to be part of a company that values quality, reliability, and your technical expertise.
About the Role
As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the full setup and commissioning of fire and security systems across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. You will ensure every installation meets the highest standards of compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission fire detection, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Work from drawings, specifications, and site surveys
- Ensure all installations are compliant with current standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS EN 50131)
- Liaise with clients and project managers on-site for smooth handovers
- Provide system training and documentation to end users
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle stock
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in installing a range of fire and security systems
- Familiarity with systems such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, C-TEC, or similar
- Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
- FIA or manufacturer training certifications (a plus)
