Northern Education Trust, Freebrough Academy is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in our Alternative Provision. Our successful candidate will work as part of the academy to support interventions with students who require additional mentoring to achieve GCSE.

You will be working with small groups and individual students across Key Stage 3 and 4 as required, to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher, Inclusion Manager or Head of Centre.

Salary amounts quoted are from 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.

Working Type: Part Time 35 hours / 39 weeks (45.942 paid weeks)

Base: Freebrough Academy, Linden Road, Brotton, Saltburn‑by‑the‑Sea, TS12 2SJ

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
