Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science. Our successful candidate will set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils, and promote good progress and outcomes by demonstrating high subject and curriculum knowledge, planning and teaching well-structured lessons, and adapting their teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.

- Adapt teaching to meet the strengths and needs of all pupils.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment data.
- Manage behaviour effectively to promote a good and safe learning environment.
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities within the school.
Qualifications & Requirements
This position will involve regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. The post holder must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children and must comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
