In this role, you will be accountable for pupil attainment and progress while fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Knowledge: Demonstrating secure subject knowledge to foster interest in Geography and promote the value of scholarship.
- Planning & Delivery: Imparting knowledge through well-structured lessons that promote intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
- Adaptive Teaching: Differentiating instruction to support all pupils, including those with SEND, high ability, or English as an additional language.
- Assessment: Using formative and summative data to monitor progress, set targets, and provide regular, accurate feedback to pupils.
- Behaviour Management: Establishing clear routines and high expectations for behaviour in accordance with the Academy's policy.
Receive support and expertise from the Director of Subjects. A full and detailed programme of support and development for all. A further comprehensive programme of professional development, including leadership, provided through the NET Staff College.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and maintains high standards of ethics and personal conduct.
- Possesses a critical understanding of developments within the Geography curriculum.
