Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology to join our dynamic department. At NET, we believe in fostering a creative, hands‑on learning environment where students can turn their imagination into tangible reality. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications and Experience
- Honours degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching, learning and assessment to at least KS3/4, preferably KS5
- Good understanding of curriculum developments
- Knowledge of Assessment for Learning and how to embed it in teaching
- Practical experience with a range of teaching and learning strategies
- Commitment to high standards in all aspects of academy work
- Confidence using standard computer packages to enhance student learning
- Ability to analyse student level data to raise standards
- Enthusiasm for the subject, creative problem‑solving and willingness to try new approaches
- Ability to relate to students, recognise safeguarding issues and communicate effectively with students and parents
- Reliable, polite, punctual, friendly and a team player
