The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2027 to cover the substantive postholder whilst on secondment.

Salary Range: Grade 2, SCP 4-5, FTE salary £26,016.00 - £26,427.00, (pro rata salary £22,985.14- £23,348.25). Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment.

Working Type: Full Time 37 hours per week, 39 working weeks, 45.942 paid weeks.

Base: Hetton Academy, North Road, Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton-le-Spring DH5 9JZ.

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic admin assistant to run reprographics and student services reception. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide an effective and student friendly first point of contact for students on all matters relating to academy life, ensuring students are directed to the correct advice and guidance or issued with information in a timely manner.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient reception service for staff and visitors to the school, including answering telephone calls, registering visitors and providing administrative services as needed.
