The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will have a key role in supporting the department\’s responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and sub-contractor management of medical equipment. This will include providing first-line support to users of medical equipment to optimize system uptime and ensure maximum utilization of medical devices.

The post holder will provide specialist technical knowledge for implementing and delivering a long-term operational plan for the cost-effective and efficient management and deployment of safe medical devices across the care organization. They will work towards achieving compliance levels for medical device repair and maintenance, including minimizing downtime, and ensure systems are available to enable clinical teams to monitor progress with maintenance and repairs of their devices.

Ideally, you will possess a minimum of an HNC in Electronics and Clinical Engineering and have extensive experience in the field of Medical Electronics since qualifying. Knowledge of application and repair of a wide range of medical equipment used in hospital and community settings is essential, although some specific training will be provided. Consideration may be given to applicants with less experience through a development pathway on a lower band, with progression upon completion of the program.

Please note that for this position, a full UK Driving Licence is required.
