Plumber (Multi Skilled)

The Estates Department are looking to enhance their maintenance team and would like to add a full time, Band 5, Multi Skilled Plumber to their team of staff.
You will work as a member of the Estates team across multi-disciplined trades.
Main duties of the job
You will provide comprehensive plumbing services to all wards and departments in a multi-disciplined environment, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
You will provide emergency response and undertake on-call duties as part of the on-call team to ensure that emergency repairs occurring out of normal hours are attended to. You must possess a level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Recognised Apprenticeship
- Multi-skill qualification i.e., NVQ level 1 or 2 in another trade or a multi-skill qualification
Knowledge, Training & Experience
- Post qualification experience working as a plumber.
- Current full driving licence
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a good level of written and verbal English skills.
- Computer literate and keyboard skills including understanding the use of outlook, handheld devices
- Working in a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience of working in an Acute Hospital/Healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of various Health & Safety Legislation as applicable to core trade
- Experience of working on a range of systems i.e., Heating, Ventilation, Hot & Cold Water Systems.
