Are you a children\’s Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new challenge, to further your career and gain valuable management experience?
Due to promotion and retirement within the service, we’re advertising an exciting opportunity for two Band 7 Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team Leaders, for our Complex Needs Team and Mainstream Schools Team. The Speech & Language Therapy Service is undergoing a period of transformation, and you have the chance to take a key role in leading this change, supported by senior management. We are keen to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to make a difference for staff and the children and families we serve.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide clear professional leadership, governance, and operational management to the teams.
- Demonstrate compassionate leadership and empathy to support the teams and the families of the children we work with.
- Utilise well-developed time management and prioritisation skills.
- Apply creativity and problem-solving to manage a range of issues.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Provide management supervision to senior members of the teams.
- Maintain high standards within the teams to enable safe and effective care.
- Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills with colleagues.
