Capital Delivery Senior Manager

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications from high-calibre Senior Estates and Facilities Leaders to join the Group Capital, Estates and Facilities Team. This role is pivotal in shaping and supporting service delivery across our Hospital Group, The Northern Care Alliance. Location and Reporting Primarily based at Salford Royal Hospital, you will report to the Head of Capital and be a key member of the Northern Care Alliance Capital, Estates and Facilities leadership team. You will support the development of standardised, efficient service strategies to enhance our acute and community estates, including Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, Salford Royal Hospital, and The Royal Oldham Hospital. Responsibilities Deliver capital strategic projects for the NCA. Manage a portfolio of capital projects, leading from development through to completion. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and business cases for estate usage. Oversee commercial and procurement aspects, managing third-party contractors to ensure successful construction project delivery. Negotiate and resolve issues related to construction schemes. Demonstrate senior experience within complex provider organisations, including regular exposure at the director level. Lead and develop project teams, fostering a positive and productive culture. Qualifications and Experience You should have significant experience in managing construction projects within a healthcare or complex provider setting, with a proven track record across all project stages—strategic planning, design, tendering, construction, and commissioning.
