Join the Frontline at Henry's Smokehouse – Experienced Floor Server (Senior Level). We're Henry's Smokehouse in Greenhalgh – the family-run Texas BBQ haven that’s got the North West hooked. With our food truck firing up soon and deliveries booming, we’re on the hunt for a top-tier Floor Server to own the floor in our high-octane, flavour-packed spot.

You’ll be the heartbeat: Confidently slinging plates in fast-paced rushes, nailing massive welcomes, juggling bookings like a pro, and keeping the southern hospitality vibe alive—think hands-on orders, guest chats about our smoky magic, and seamless team flow. Senior chops mean leading by example, troubleshooting with a smile, and thriving when it’s all-hands-on-deck.

What we’re after:

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, supporting both the front-of-house operations and contributing to a positive atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently.
  • Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Provide attentive guest service, addressing any enquiries or special requests with professionalism.
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing after service.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments securely.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and uphold high standards of customer care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality of at least a year.
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience in serving or guest services roles demonstrates strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments can be beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills, including time management, are essential to handle busy service periods effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour and professional appearance.
