We’re looking for an experienced Head of Operations to play a pivotal role in how the business runs, performs and grows. With a busy studio and a team of production specialists, things move quickly. This role ensures everything stays organised, efficient and high-performing.

Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll support our production departments, oversee workflow and resourcing, and line-manage our Scheduling Assistant. You’ll focus on improving operational efficiency, elevating output quality, and providing clear reporting and insight to support decision-making at board level. If you enjoy bringing clarity to busy environments and helping people do their best work, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing day-to-day studio and production operations
  • Owning studio workflows, resource planning and scheduling
  • Leading operational problem-solving and removing blockers early
  • Coaching, supporting and line-managing our Studio Assistant
  • Owning documented processes, tooling and internal communication
  • Working closely with finance on forecasting, budgets and commercial oversight
  • Producing clear operational reporting for leadership and the board
  • Supporting leadership with structure, planning and operational decision-making
  • Helping maintain a positive, supportive and accountable studio culture

About you:

  • Proven operations experience in a creative, digital or production-led environment
  • Comfortable managing people and supporting team development
  • Strong understanding of workflow management, resourcing and delivery cycles
  • Confident working with numbers, including forecasting, capacity and utilisation
  • A clear communicator who brings calm and clarity under pressure
  • Enjoys solving problems, improving systems and creating order
  • Highly organised, detail-driven and confident making decisions

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Jira or similar workflow or project management tools
  • Experience with Float or similar resource planning tools
  • Xero or basic financial operations experience
  • Notion or similar documentation and knowledge management tools
