Independent End Point Assessor- Learning and Skills Teacher in North East

Location: Remote - Kent, London and North East

(travel will be required to attend in person assessments)

About the role

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) to join our End Point Assessment team to deliver the following standard:

• Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher

This role could be a great fit if you have experience working in further education. This experience may have been gained in roles such as Education Practitioner, FE Learning and Skills Teacher, Learning and Skills Practitioner, Learning and Skills Teacher, Lecturer, Tutor or similar positions.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. You'll use your industry knowledge and professional expertise to evaluate performance, maintain quality standards, and support learners in demonstrating their competence.

Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Please make sure you can commit to this before applying.

How you'll make an impact:

• Delivering EPA in line with the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher standards
• Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
• Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
• Communicating with apprentices, ITP's and employers on EPA and grading

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

• A recognised Assessor qualification or working towards
• Hold a level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of two years' experience of delivering further education teacher training
• A full, clean driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your region for face-to-face assessment delivery
• Have experience of producing clear and accurate reports
• Excellent IT skills and be competent with using systems such as Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
