Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne)

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office once a week.

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic Website Officer with proven digital / communications experience to help us maintain our ncfe.org.uk website, driving marketing campaigns through digital content and lead generation, and ensuring accurate and supportive customer information across the site. The role sits in the Brand, Communication and Partnerships Directorate, which consists of PR, internal comms, content, brand, advertising, marketing, design, video and events professionals. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining website content and measuring and analysing performance. You will support stakeholders by actioning website content requests, and work in conjunction with the digital, marketing ops and design teams on the creation, execution and delivery of tactical marketing plans and campaigns.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Supporting best-in-class integrated marketing campaigns, aligned to business requirements to drive ROI, through the publication, maintenance and measurement of product and campaign landing pages, ensuring content is relevant, accurate, optimized for search, and generates leads.
  • Responding to and managing Service Desk tickets for web updates from across the business, prioritising tasks, working in partnership with stakeholders within the agreed SLA response times.
  • Using GA4 to analyse web performance and user activity, identify and report on high-performing content, and identify and take remedial action on underperforming content.
  • Supporting with site health metrics and maintenance of our KPIs, using Site Improve to identify broken links and accessibility issues, and take appropriate remedial action.

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Degree qualified or vocational equivalent in digital marketing/communications/web related field.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar or comparable role.
  • Excellent SEO and GEO understanding and capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work accurately.
  • Experience of working with website content and CMS tools.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics, with the ability to interpret and report on data.
  • Have a creative and analytical approach to testing CTAs and conversions.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills/ability to work to tight deadlines.
