To provide administrative and bookkeeping support for the Finance Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SALES LEDGER
    • Generation of monthly sales invoices.
    • Overall maintenance of the Sales Ledger.
  • PURCHASE LEDGER
    • Purchase Ledger invoice coding and posting.
    • Reconcile to supplier statements for payment.
  • GENERAL
    • Preparation and supply of any other information deemed necessary by the Finance Manager.
    • Participate in mandatory training as required.
    • To participate in Performance Appraisal as appraisee.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to plan and organise work.
  • Capable of working as part of a team but also working on own initiative.
  • Good working knowledge of IT and telephone systems.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
  • Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
  • 2 years’ office experience.
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
