NWCare is a Northern Ireland based company. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to join our team in Limavady/Derry/Londonderry (Waterside and Cityside areas). This role involves providing high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. All positions are paid and offer an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs, including assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support Service Users with medication administration and health monitoring as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Document care activities accurately and report any concerns to senior staff.
Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate.

Working Pattern
We work off a 4/3 rota pattern:
- Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Qualifications and Skills
- Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
- Able to promote and deliver person-centred care
- Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
- Be well-organised, professional and caring
- Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
- Care about the community they live in
- QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care
