Join Our Team! We are looking for a Retail Group Instructor (Garden Nursery & Gift Shop) to join our Northdale Day Services team. This is a new role within Northdale and an exciting opportunity to be a part of developing our Day Services and retail offer.

Role details:

  • Location: Northdale, Northallerton
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent (37.5hrs per week)
  • Annual salary: £25,233

About the role:

We are looking for a Retail Group Instructor to support adults with learning disabilities to develop skills, confidence, and independence while working in our Garden Nursery & Gift Shop at our Northdale, Northallerton site. This is a rewarding, hands-on role combining support work, horticulture and retail within a friendly, values-driven charity environment.

Responsibilities:

As Retail Group Instructor, you’ll work closely with our Garden Nursery instructor to support adults with learning disabilities to serve customers, care for plants, and contribute to the day-to-day running of our Garden Nursery & Gift Shop. You will help create a vibrant, welcoming space that showcases the high-quality products made by Northdale clients and reflects our strong local reputation for plant knowledge & choice as well as fabulous handmade gifts.
