Electrical Design Engineer Permanent | Office-based I'm working with a well-established, close-knit building services design consultancy in East Surrey. They're looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role is for a hands-on designer. You'll be involved in real, varied design work from concept to completion, not managing huge overseas megaprojects. Their projects cover offices (speculative and fit-out), hotels, education, residential, retail, restaurants and light industrial. What you'll be doing Electrical services design across RIBA stages: lighting, small power, containment, LV distribution, fire alarm and security systemsCable calculations in ElectricalOM and lighting calculations in DialuxProducing LV schematics, DB schedules and layoutsWorking directly with architects, clients and contractorsWorking closely with the directors, with real visibility and room to growWhat they're looking for At least 2 years of UK building services electrical design experience (graduate +2 and above, all levels considered)A solid grounding in general building services designWorking knowledge of ElectricalOM and Dialux, plus AutoCADGood understanding of BS 7671 and relevant UK standardsA relevant degree or HNC/HND in electrical or building services engineeringAble to commute to East Surrey.
