A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established, BAFE-approved Fire & Security contractor. The successful candidate will primarily carry out small works, second fixing, commissioning and servicing of fire alarm systems across London and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, second fixing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Carrying out planned servicing and maintenance
- Fault finding, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensuring systems are installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standards
- Ensuring all work complies with BS 5839, current fire safety regulations and company procedures
- Completing works professionally and providing a high standard of service to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant standards
- Competent in installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Strong fault-finding and servicing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- Own hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship
