Are you a passionate and experienced professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Waiter to join the team at Northcote Hotel, a Michelin-starred restaurant and luxury hotel in Lancashire.
This is a unique chance to be part of a pivotal moment in our history. Recently acquired by the Ellis family, Northcote is set to undergo an ambitious expansion in 2026. These plans include a brand new restaurant, extended private dining suites, full refurbishment, and a new spa. As Head Waiter, you’ll be a key player in this journey, helping us elevate the guest experience as we grow.
The Role
Responsibilities
We\’re looking for someone who loves to lead from the front. You\’ll be responsible for overseeing our front-of-house team and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. Your role will involve:
- Leading and mentoring our service team
- Maintaining our high standards of service and presentation
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Managing reservations and guest queries efficiently
- Working closely with the management team to improve operations
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Head Waiter or in a similar leadership role
- A strong passion for food, wine, and hospitality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
