Northchild Property Management (UK) Ltd is looking for a motivated Accountant (Part qualified) to join our finance team in Cambridge. You will be part of a collaborative, international environment supporting the day-to-day running of our finance operations. The role offers variety, teamwork and exposure to international business in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:- Purchase ledger control
- Set up supplier
- Issue purchase orders
- Post expenditure accurately to all systems including invoices and credit notes as required
- Prepare and process supplier payments
- Responsible for credit control
- Upload invoices to SharePoint and organise the filing for finance folder in SharePoint
- Sales ledger control
- Issue and post sales invoices accurately and responsible for debtor control
- Maintain fixed assets register and the inventory list
- Analyse corporate card expenses and reconciliation
- Perform bank, VAT, intercompany accounts, payroll and other reconciliations
- Process monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
- Work with Head of Finance to prepare monthly reports for the management team
- Work with Head of Finance to prepare budgets and forecasts
- Act as point of contact across departments
- Assist with year-end accounts and audits

Essential Requirements:- At least 3 years of accounting skills covering the most areas listed in the key responsibilities and strong skills in reconciliation
- AAT Level 3 or 4, or early-stage ACCA/CIMA student, with a commitment to continue studying
- Part qualified with experience is preferable
- Excellent skills in accounting software is essential; QuickBooks is preferred
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Solid Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving and strong organisational skills
- Mandarin-spoken (language skills)
- Exposure to month-end processes, VAT, fixed assets or year-end processes
- Basic understanding of internal controls and audit readiness
