Job Description - Health Care Assistant Location: Northcare Residences - Glasgow Salary: Β£13.45 per hour Hours: Full-time hours Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Residences - Glasgow.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include

  • Providing personal care and support to residents
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
  • Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
