We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cherry Picker / MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Operator to join our team on a new build construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating access equipment to support various trades on site, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and in line with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MEWPs (scissor lifts, boom lifts) safely and competently
- Carry out pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Support site teams with working at height tasks
- Adhere strictly to site health & safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and hazard-free
Requirements:
- Valid IPAF licence (3a & 3b categories preferred)
- Previous experience on new build construction sites
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CSCS card (preferred/required depending on site)
