Multiskilled Joiner – Social Housing Location: Bury, Greater Manchester Salary: £23.00ph CIS Contract: 3 Months to Permenant Hours: 40Hrs This is a hands-on role carrying out responsive repairs, void works and general property maintenance, with joinery at its core and a range of additional multi-skilled duties. What We Offer * Competitive salary / hourly rate - Full-time, stable employment. * Opportunities to work within an established social housing repairs team. * Company vehicle & Fuel Card / pension / holiday allowance – amend as applicable Key Responsibilities * First and second fix joinery, including doors, frames, skirting, architraves and flooring - Repair and replacement of composite doors, UPVC windows, locks and window mechanisms. * Installation and repair of kitchen units, worktops and associated fixtures - General carpentry including timber roofing repairs, boxing and stud wall construction. * Fitting and repairing sinks, baths, WCs and wash hand basins - Minor plumbing repairs, including pipework, wastes, siphons, ball valves and blockages. * Wall tiling and re-grouting around baths, sinks and kitchen areas - Minor plastering, brickwork and patch pointing. * Completing repairs efficiently and professionally in residents' homes and void properties
