Northbrook Park is a country estate wedding venue located on the border of Surrey and Hampshire. The property has 2 impressive event rooms for any size or style wedding ceremony, breakfast or reception up to 250 guests. We are a dry hire venue that offers weddings throughout the entire year on every day of the week. As a dry hire venue, we offer venue only and all other aspects of the weddings are sourced externally (including catering). The office team oversees the day-to-day running's but does not coordinate or manage the operations.
We have a superb opportunity for a Wedding & Events Manager to join the sales team. As our Wedding & Events Manager, you will be required to handle wedding enquiries. You should have a warm, personable nature, a can-do attitude and an exceptional eye for detail. You will be confident, enjoy client relationship building and have clear planning and organisational skills. You will also be passionate, driven and focused on achieving optimum results with a proactive approach to your work. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken are essential. Previous wedding and sales experience is preferred.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of four
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and additional services
- Maintaining accurate records using our event management systems
- Responding to wedding enquiries and using the tracker to record them
- Carrying out all chase emails and calls following the enquiries
- Holding final details meetings with couples prior to their big day
- Supporting in hitting the monthly sales targets
- Answering the phones and any questions that current or future couples might have
- Assisting the venue with any operational support they might need
- Delivering a first-class customer service experience
Requirements:
- Flexibility in working hours. You will be required to work some weekends.
- A passion for sales
- A bubbly personality and confidence in talking on the phone!
- A minimum of 2 years sales background (essential)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in weddings and events in a senior role (essential)
