Northbrook College (Shoreham), part of the Chichester College Group, is recruiting a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle. The successful candidate will be based at the Shoreham Airport campus and will deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons across Entry Level to Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Motorsport courses.

Salary and schedule: £27,785 – £43,325 per annum, plus a £3,000 retention payment paid on successful completion of probation. Working hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. There is also an opportunity for a targeted retention incentive payment of up to £6,000. Hours: Both full‑time and part‑time hours are available, depending on your preference.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Motor Vehicle Maintenance qualifications, providing students with the technical skills, confidence and industry insight needed to succeed.
  • Deliver engaging, practical lessons covering engine systems, diagnostics, motorsport performance and other core topics.
  • Apprise students of industry updates and foster real‑world learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Level 3 automotive qualification.
  • Industry or subject experience; experience in education is not required but advantageous.
  • Pathway into teaching can be accessed via Chichester College Group resources.
