Northbrook College, part of the Chichester College Group, is seeking a Lecturer in English for the Fresh Start (14-16 Engagement) programme.

This role involves 14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, on a fixed term until 30 June 2025.

At Northbrook College, our purpose is to Change Lives Through Learning. As an English Lecturer in Fresh Start, you will deliver innovative and engaging lessons to pre-16 students to re-engage them in education. Some students are disengaged and disinterested in education and find a college environment more appropriate for their educational needs. The students have a range of individual support needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.

You will be creative, experienced, and passionate about working with challenging students aged 14-16 and have the ability to engage and encourage students to participate. This will include the delivery of PSHE and occupational studies.

The working pattern for this role will be discussed at interview.
