Job Coach [Ref: NBK2893]
£25,783 – £26,972 per annum pro‑rata (equivalent £12,851.83 – £13,444.50). 22.2 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum.
The Additional Learning Support team provides advice and support to learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to overcome barriers to work and progress into paid employment through our Supported Internship programmes.
In this role you will support learners to access other support where appropriate, provide learners with on‑the‑job training and support whilst on work placements or in paid employment and assist the Teaching & Learning Manager with pre‑job start activities for learners, including recruitment days and employer contact.
Essential Criteria Requirements
- Experience working with SEND learners
- Experience of working in Further Education
- Understanding of the local labour market, linking Barrier Breaking services to employment opportunities.
- Level 3 subject sector relevant qualification
