We are looking for a compassionate and organised individual with experience supporting young people, particularly those experiencing mental health challenges, to work on a part time, term time only basis.
As our HE Safeguarding Officer, you will:
- Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the College's E6 Sexual Harassment and Misconduct procedures and investigations.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to Higher Education students involved in sexual harassment and misconduct cases.
- Co-ordinate the College's support provision relating to sexual harassment and misconduct.
- Communicate effectively with students regarding support services, procedures and outcomes.

What you will bring to the role:
- You will be educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above or equivalent).
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject.
- Experience within an educational setting, advocating for young people, assessing support needs, and working with external support services would be beneficial.
- You will be able to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and make informed decisions in sensitive situations.
