The predicted salary is between 31279 - 34189 £ per year.
Pro rata of £31,279 to £34,189 per annum (i.e. £19,105.55 - £20,883.01). 26 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Fixed term maternity cover for a maximum of one year or until the return, resignation or replacement of the current post holder, whichever comes first.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload and act as the main point of contact for students with mental health needs.
- Provide guidance to staff to ensure effective and inclusive support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver a joined‑up approach to student wellbeing.
- Contribute to policy and best practice and promote a positive mental health culture through training and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adults with mental health difficulties.
- Aware of the issues facing learners in further and higher education.
- Experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online platforms.
- In‑depth understanding of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and proven organisational skills.
