The predicted salary is between 34189 - 34189 £ per year.
Pro rata of £31,279 - £34,189 per annum (i.e. £10,394.25 - £11,361.27). 14.8 hours per week, 36 weeks per year. The postholder will provide individual, confidential counselling to HE students to help them achieve their academic potential. The service will be student‑centred and consistent with the "Ethical Framework for Good Practice" set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. The role includes producing timely reports, sharing anonymised trends or concerns to inform policy improvements, and working closely with the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to ensure a coordinated response.
Qualifications
- Hold 5 GCSEs grade 4/C or above, including English and maths.
- Possess a Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy.
- Have experience working in university or college counselling services and counselling people with enduring or emerging mental health difficulties, including suicidality and self‑harm.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of professional counselling standards and expectations.
- Be proficient with Microsoft applications, databases, and web-based tools.
