Are you looking for that ideal part time, term time only role that will make a real difference to learners lives and college journey? As our CLA (Children Looked After) Tutor, you will:

  • Gather information required for the PEP by communicating with curriculum and pastoral teams.
  • Organise and attend the PEP meetings to present updated information and discuss the CLAs progress, ensuring this is accurately recorded on the relevant ePEP system.
  • Develop respectful trusting relationships with young people.
  • Establish relationships and liaise with Social Workers, Foster Carers and local authorities to arrange PEP meeting dates.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Understanding of the study needs and options and progression opportunities for post 16 learners.
  • Delivering learning advice to students in a 1:1 or group.
  • Understanding of Trauma Informed Practice and ACES.
