We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop the site quality function. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the quality team and ensuring all products meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the site Quality team
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal standards
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System
- Act as the main point of contact for customer and third-party audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Work closely with production and technical teams to uphold standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within food manufacturing
- Strong experience working with own label products (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRCGS)
- Experience managing audits and customer relationships
- Strong leadership and communication skills
