3.75 hours per week - 8.30am to 9.15am Monday to Friday.

Northborough Primary School are looking to appoint a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team to assist in the running of our Breakfast Club. Within the role you will assist in the delivery of breakfast, play and care provision for children aged between 4 and 11 years. This will involve supervising the provision of a healthy cold breakfast, promoting healthy eating habits, and supporting appropriate play-based activities.

Who:

  • Enjoys working with children and ideally has experience of working with children aged 4-11 years.
  • Has a good standard of general education and ideally a qualification at NVQ level 2 in an appropriate childcare/education related subject although this is not essential.
  • Has a basic understanding of food hygiene and willingness to undertake basic qualifications.
  • Has an understanding of safeguarding.
  • Is able to communicate well with a wide range of groups and individuals.
  • Is a team player whilst also able to work on their own initiative.
