Northamptonshire Police is seeking an ANPR Data Management Officer to join the ANPR Team based at Force Headquarters.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the quality, effectiveness and compliance of the force's ANPR capability. You will be responsible for monitoring ANPR markers, supporting data management processes, conducting audits and helping ensure compliance with national standards and legislation.

The successful candidate will analyse data trends, review system usage, produce audit reports and work with officers and staff across the organisation to promote best practice and ensure the proportionate use of ANPR systems. A key part of the role will be supporting continual improvements in ANPR data quality and marker management, helping ensure officers and staff receive relevant, accurate and timely information that supports effective prioritisation, risk assessment and deployment decisions.

You will also act as the force single point of contact for the production of ANPR evidential packages and support the Force ANPR Manager in maintaining effective governance, audit and compliance arrangements.

We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and experience of working with data. You should be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, able to work independently and committed to maintaining high standards of compliance and data integrity.

Experience in audit, compliance, information management or data quality roles would be advantageous. Knowledge of policing environments, ANPR systems, PNC processes or relevant legislation is desirable but not essential.

This role offers the opportunity to directly influence how ANPR is used across the force, helping maximise operational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with national standards, legislation and best practice.
