An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Telephone Patient Services Advisor to join a friendly and busy GP Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in offering general assistance to the Practice Team.
  • Project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors via the telephone.
  • Receive calls, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional.
  • Work well under pressure and maintain a courteous, efficient and effective approach.
  • Be flexible and willing to work mornings, afternoons and evenings, plus holiday and sickness cover.

Qualifications

  • Motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Previous experience working in a contact or call centre/GP surgery is an advantage, though training will be provided.

Working Hours

20 hours per week.
