Northamptonshire Sport is a leading physical activity, health and wellbeing charity based in Northamptonshire, delivering national initiatives locally. We collaborate with local and national partners to change the system, influencing strategy, policy and approaches, tackling inequalities and supporting communities to change lives through widening participation in physical activity. We also deliver sport participation events, physical activity programmes and wellbeing projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a central role in shaping how we tell the story of our Sport England Place Expansion work and wider programmes. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and diverse partners, you’ll develop clear, engaging communications that raise awareness, build collaboration and demonstrate impact. From creating compelling content and managing campaigns to capturing community stories and supporting partners with practical communications tools, you’ll help drive system change through strong, purposeful communication.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have experience in marketing and communications, with the ability to create high‑quality content for different channels and audiences. Organised, collaborative and confident, you’ll be skilled at building relationships across diverse partners and communities. You’ll manage competing priorities and use insight to evaluate what works. Strong written, verbal and visual skills are essential, along with a good understanding of social media and digital engagement.
