We have an exciting opportunity to join our LibraryPlus team as a Weekend Assistant (working 4 hours on a Saturday) to help deliver a wide range of services and events to the local community. North Northamptonshire Council Libraries are community hubs and our Saturday Assistants are at the heart of the frontline assisting customers with accessing the Library systems, supporting events and dealing with a variety of enquiries. Providing digital support, our weekend assistants will aid customers with their IT skills, enabling them to self-serve using the NNC website and other online services effectively and confidently.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and people focused Weekend Assistant to join the team at Corby Library. Reporting to the Library Manager you will contribute to delivering an excellent experience to our customers in the local community. This is a role which will require you to work frontline with customers and also with colleagues, volunteers, partner organisations.
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with a wide variety of people
- Confident IT Skills
- Enthusiasm with a flexible, positive attitude
