About the role

If you’re an experienced Manager who is keen to be part of a thriving Business community and have a desire to join our team in driving forward the success of North Northamptonshire Council’s Business Centres, this may be the perfect role for you!

The Business Centres are part of the Asset and Environment service within the Place and Economy directorate. This role includes management of a small team and overseeing daily operations of the Enterprise Centre East Northants, based in Raunds.

This role will be both challenging and rewarding and we are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and is not afraid to face any challenges which may arise within a busy environment.

What will you be doing?

As Business Centre Operations Manager, you will be accountable, along with the Principal Business Centres Manager and Facilities Manager to ensure a safe environment at the Raunds site.

You will maintain the Council’s financial records and be involved in managing procedures to ensure income generation targets are achieved and maintained.

There will be a requirement to be involved and oversee the marketing strategy of the Centres and delegate duties to Officers as appropriate.

As part of the role, you will take direct responsibility for managing and developing the Centre Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring a professional service is delivered at all times.

You will represent the council at meetings when the Principal Business Centre Manager is not available and deputise in their absence.

About you

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a background in managing a team.

You will ideally have a working knowledge of public sector and Local Government.
