About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person to join our team at North Northamptonshire Council. If you love working outdoors and are willing to learn a range of skills, this could be an excellent opportunity for you, apply now and become a valued member of the Grounds ArboricultureServicesTeam.
The successful applicantsMUST HAVE A FULL UK Driving Licence and be able to drive a company van to and from different locations within NNC. Applicants must also have previous experience in all aspects of Arb works, possess NPTC competencies CS30,31,32,36,38,39,40,41, the ability to work at height and operate machinery safely.
The role is currently based out of the Kettering depot however the role may be deployed across the area of operations in Kettering, Wellingborough or Corby and the successful applicant may need to work out of any of these areas as a primary base.

About you
Candidates will require previous Arb experience
We operate in all weathers (rain or shine!) so you must be happy to work outdoors
· This role can be physically demanding and will include lifting and carrying heavy equipment
· Good communication skills as you will be liaising with our customersas well as internal members of staff and members of the public
· You should have an interest in grounds maintenance or a willingness to learn new things
· You should be willing to try your hand at other jobs within the service, as some flexibility would be desirable
